ABSTRACT
This research focuses on Agribusiness firms and social responsibilities in Nigeria (A case study of
Nestle Food Nigeria Plc.). Data for this study was collected by the use of a structured questionnaire and interview schedule. Thirty (30) respondents were randomly sampled from the study area and the data collected was analyzed with the use of descriptive design such as Mean, Frequency tables, Percentages and t-test and the following findings were made; Quality of food (quality control) (100%), environmental management (63.33%), health centers construction (83.33%), leadership development (50%) and community development (96%) were the areas of interest of Nestle Food Nigeria Plc.. There was a positive impact on the Social responsibilities of the organization to the community and beneficiaries. The company provided water, electricity supply, and employment etc. to the dwellers of the communities. There was a significant difference between the income of the beneficiaries before and after the intervention of the organization in terms of their social responsibilities.
